Love quote of the day:
He is not a lover who does not love forever
-- Euripides
I've been cleaning out some 'old stuff' I've had hanging around for a year or so now.
Once upon a time ago, I'd high, maybe even 'forever' hopes for it.
But.
You know what they say about time - it tells!
And shit smells -
and that's a fact, Jack.
I think old Euripides is spot on with his time table - one sure fire way to separate out the pure heart from the pretender izzant it?
Did it? Will it? Does it - stand the test of time?

dont agree with this greek
forever is a time that has no measure for humans
even in marriage u cant and shudnt promise eternal love
u change
he/she changes
just cherish the moment
the fact that this moment will not last forever dont make this love any less
forever is a romantic dream
and dreams die
yes. expecting that things are forever is a pretty high expectation. Especially ~love~. however, compassion is pretty steadfast (from my experience) and is somewhat more enduring and less traumatic to the ego :)
